What is a cookie ?

A cookie is a text file transmitted by a website server to your browser which in turn stores it on your device (computer, tablet or mobile phone). This file contains several information: the name of the server which deposited it, a unique identifier and an expiration date. Thus, the cookie allows its issuer to identify the device in which it is stored until it expires.

Audience measurement cookies

These cookies are used to measure the audience of a website. For example, they make it possible to know the number of visits, the time of the visits, the most visited pages, etc.
